The STIHL HLA 56 is the first extended-reach hedge trimmer within the AK System. Powered by the same 36-volt lithium-ion battery as other products within the AK System, this hedge trimmer provides homeowners with more versatility by combining the benefits of a battery-powered product with the ability to accomplish difficult trimming tasks. A high cutting speed of 2,800 strokes per minute allows for clean and efficient cutting, even when dealing with larger branches. At 11.1 pounds (with AK 20 battery) and with an articulating cutting blade offering a 135-degree range, the HLA 56 leverages optimal cutting performance with the lightweight portability needed to get the job done.
